Garden goals! The Courts Garden, in Holt, Wiltshire, England. Another garden that my husband and I visited in England a long time ago and that I liked very much. It has everything that you expect from a great English garden: Interestingly and lushly planted garden beds, a great green lawn, small boxwood hedges, topiaries, big yew hedges, and wonderful mature trees in the background. I find it so inspiring to look at a garden like this and think about which elements would work in and elevate my own garden. I definitely want lushly planted garden beds and I am working hard to achieve that goal. But I am also contemplating to plant boxwoods and trim them into round spheres in my garden in Austin. Boxwoods seem to do well here and add so much structure and interest to the garden. I have never grown them and have a lot of respect for the work it might require to keep them looking good, aka constant pruning. Do any of you grow boxwood in your garden? And if so, do you grow them in the form of hedges, spheres or even fancy topiaries? Do you find it a lot of work to keep them looking neat? Happy weekend everyone! And for the gardeners under you, I hope you find some time to get out and garden! 🇺🇦💙💛🕊🌻💔 #organicgardendreams #gardengoals #gardeninspiration #gardeninspo #gardensofinstagram #englishgarden #englishgardens #boxwood #topiaries #gardendreams #dreamgardens #england #gardendesign #gardening #garden #gardens #thecourtsgarden #courtsgarden #courtsgardenwiltshire #publicgarden #publicgardens #englishcountryside #beautifulgarden #beautifulgardens (at Holt, Wiltshire, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc-fBwNOtJm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
