This is what remains of Coventry Mall. Much of the mall closed a year and a half ago, but some parts are still accessible as of my last visit. New strip mall style store units are visible from the parking lot and a gym has taken over part of the mall hallway that you can see from inside Boscov's.

Update on Coventry. Most of the mall is now closed with barricades since March 3rd 2023.

Coventry Mall, December 2022.

The lights were out in a lot of places, the heat felt like it was barely turned on, many vacant storefronts were left totally open for anyone to step in, and kids were skateboarding down the halls. Now I'm under the impression that the mall has closed for good.

I've been to a few places like this - Phillipsburg Mall, Columbia Colonnade, the Galleria at Harborplace, even Voorhees Town Center and Chambersburg Mall, both of which are still open (for now). You can tell when you're in a place that's not long for this world.

They just REALLY don't know how to close the gates on the empty stores in this mall...

You could almost believe this mall is alive if this is the only part you looked at. I've heard very good things about the pizza place in this food court.

Lonely plant and dead Sears in the background. These Christmas decorations are still up in April. I'm told a rumor (which I could not verify) that the owner of the Coventry Mall, Pennmark Management, is currently in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
