So today in class this poor, poor kid was giving a speech and he was talking about a picture of his dog and his girlfriend's dog, and he said, pretty much verbatim, "That's my girlfriend's dog on the bottom, and that's my dog on the top."

And that set the room off.

For like five minutes everybody just about cried they were laughing so hard and I couldn't figure it out at first and then I got half-annoyed at everybody because this poor guy was in the middle of his speech (not completely annoyed though it's hard to be annoyed at somebody who's laughing so hard they literally cannot speak) and Morgan almost peed herself and it just got worse from there, because apparently Professor Sassypants thought it was the funniest thing that had happened to him ever and literally everything set him off, even when somebody said "I liked the conclusion of your speech, that picture had a happy ending" and he was practically howling with laughter and I was done.

I was so done.

Yup! Lovely episode! I nearly died because Lord of the Flies parallels. And those last few moments of the episode. Incredible what they put in those last few moments. Absolutely incredible. Still not over it, actually.

Lord of the Flies freaks me out, so I could have done without that maybe... but then it was relevant, so... :p And I KNOW, RITE? about the last few scenes. Total surprise sucker punch of emotion. I can't believe how well the season is keeping up the quality so far!
