COVID 19 AND SCHOOLS OPENING UP

I wanted to make a post to share how schools in the UK are treating the coronavirus. I want to point out the fact that we can’t wear masks is NOT MADE UP. We have been told to not wear masks and I can’t explain in words how frustrating this is for me including other students. COVID 19 ISNT A JOKE. Our school doesn’t seem to realise the risk they are putting all students in especially when we aren’t permitted to wearing masks. This makes me, including others heavily worried about how things are going to work out. I want to put out that I DO NOT feel safe returning back to school in any shame or form because one of us out of 1,500 students may have the virus.

PLEASE REPOST THIS BECAUSE WE NEED OUR VOICES TO BE HEARD. WE DO NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL ESPECIALLY WHEN THIS PANDEMIC IS KILLING THOUSANDS. I don’t care who you are but this could save many lives including teachers.

I also want to point out that the city I live in has the MOST coronavirus cases because our Mayor didn’t look into it AND I DO NOT FEEL LIKE I AM IN SAFE HANDS.

Also this is what MY PRINCIPAL said:

As you can see my school clearly doesn’t allow masks and have also said anyone who coughs on anyone will be excluded. Do they not realise that the chances of someone coughing on someone on purpose is much more higher than having to wear a god darn mask? I’m disgusted

If girls can get sent home FORCEFULLY for the type of clothing that YOU SEEM TO SEXUALISE then why is WEARING A MASK A CHOICE OR NOT? Isn’t wearing what you want a choice? Why do we get sent home then if we wear what we want? Why isn’t wearing masks as important as that?

Getting back on track with zero waste lifestyle

Hi everyone! 

It has been quite a while since I have posted here. I wanted to add a quick update before getting back into posting zero waste stuff. 

I definitely feel like I have fallen off my zero waste track since March (when the pandemic started). Bulk barn stopped their “bring your own jar” program which is how I did a lot of my zero waste grocery shopping. Also, I moved across Canada to the east coast (NOVA SCOTIA!!) in May, aka the height of the pandemic. 

It was very difficult to shop sustainably with thrift stores being closed at the time and being nervous about buying on Marketplace or Kijiji because I didn’t want to interact with people I didn’t know. 

All in all I wanted to reiterate that this blog is called AVERAGE Zero Waster. We all have moments where we try our best and it’s just not good enough. Or we are stressed with life and forget our sustainable values. I wanted to let you know that that is ok and as a community we are all here for each other no matter what! 

Anyways, glad to be back on track and hoping to make lots of new posts in the coming months, starting today :)

Endlich! Multimilliardär Bill Gates hat heute die Veröffentlichung der neuen Covid-Version angekündigt. Covid-20 soll zahlreiche neue Funktionen bieten und einige Fehler der aktuellen Version beseitigen. Wie bereits Covid-19 und dessen Vorgängermodelle Covid-2000, Covid-XP und Covid-Vista wird auch Covid-20 kostenlos erhältlich sein.

COVID update

Hi writers and creators! Hope you’re all doing well. It’s been a while since this blog was active but I thought I’d restart it. I’m hoping to post some writing prompts, resources, writing inspiration, etc. Now that we’re all self-isolating, this can be a great time to catch up on any old projects--or start totally something new! With that being said, keep in mind this is a stressful, unprecedented time, so don’t feel bad if you having trouble creating. Take a breather and put your health first. Be well!
