The wildfire smoke has been hovering to the north all day. Most of our town will have no electricity tomorrow, but we’re lucky to have underground lines. Hope the fire is contained soon. Hope everyone’s safe.

First time hiking up Old Quarry Trail in 17 months. During Covid, I avoided single-track trails, but since vaccination I’ve been returning to these tracks, which feel like old friends. A lot of work to climb, but well worth it!
