TF2 Fanfic - Lapdog and 11. If I were to rewrite this fic, what would I change?

If I were to rewrite this, honestly, I'd expand more in two places.

First, I'd expand even more on Sniper's feelings.  Not just his doubts and how he'd give up everything for Demo, but how deep those feelings run, to give even more emphasis to how important he is to Sniper, and how powerful a gesture of giving up his life's fixation for him.  I always feel like I could've expanded further, and perhaps tormented him with a little more angst over it.  <3

Second, I'd have drawn out the awkward moment of Scout interrupting their tickle fight and the uncomfortable expanse after he jets and leaves them realizing how cutesy they're being before Sniper drags them back into their roughhousing.

TF2 Fanfic - Discourse and 7. Were there any major decisions I made about the fic that could have made it go a whole different direction?

Hmmm.  Probably actually including Soldier.  Originally I was going to have Pyro go directly to Spy and have Spy and Engie's encounter in this fic.  But then as I worked on it it felt the pacing was off, plus having all of that happen between Flight of Fancy and Devil in the Details would be too many reveals and big things happening all at once.  I needed a fic to advance the plot while giving a breather between Medic's transformation and Demo and Sniper finally going steady.

Putting Soldier in for Pyro to talk to instead, and actually including his relationship with RED Demo, and him coming out as a monster publically, were all big character moments for him, developed the world a little more and expanded the story outside of just BLU base, as well as gave Pyro a direction when he was having trouble finding one on his own.  It also makes him going to Spy less vindictive seeming on his part.

...what a rambling answer.  Sorry bout that.

Genie: I'd wish to be able to change my body however I like whenever I like and return to my normal state when I choose.

Fury: "I'm pissed at you." or some variation thereof.  I can't stand when I've upset someone I care about.  ;-;
