Coxies during dryland
So I guess I'm the joke on the team, right? I'm really just done with trying so hard for this team, and having them disrespect me. Why am I here, busting my ass for you, if you're gonna have the attitude of novices like, eh I don't really feel like rowing today. So let me just take a day off, and you can row yourselves around the lake, and motivate yourselves, and dock yourselves, and judge yourselves, and make yourselves feel like crap. Really? You feel the need to take the one vulnerable and weak person in the boat and beat him down weaker? So you've got this right? The whole rowing thing. You can totally just go out for a leisurely stroll around all your race courses and be fine with DFL, having your only excuse be, "Well at least we tried." I don't want you to try, I want you to DO. Don't hesitate a stroke. For every stroke you take off, that's a second faster we could've gotten to the finish line. Stop making excuses and ROW!
AND STOP TREATING ME LIKE A BAG OF GARBAGE SITTING LIKE DEADWEIGHT IN THE BOAT.
I told my coach that I wanted to be a coxswain. Let's see how that works out. Any coxies out there want to give me advice?
how coxies feel after having to carry a blade for a rower
That awkward moment when the nurse asks you if you do any sports and you say that you row crew, but you don't really row but you do the workouts (sometimes)... #coxswainproblems
When coxies need to keep weight down before a regatta
Around food, coxies are like
And their crews are like
