5. How do you choose your characters’ names?

My! Interesting question. Usually, through a lot of research and parental guide's for baby names lol. However, for my quartet of babies, here are the reasons:

Jesse (Don and Nina's son): I was literally listening to Jesse's Girl LMAO. But I also wanted to give him a common name that wasn't in Spanish. I always see people naming Don's and Nina's children with Italian or Spanish names, to which I say nooo. Not me. That's just too expected and Jesse wasn't lol.

Sebastian (Martin Wolff and Dina's son): Now, Sebastian does have a name that's pretty common in Spanish speaking countries (particularly in mine), however I liked it because it sounded kinda fancy, and had a cute nickname, Seb. I read it comes from the Latin for "venerable", and I figured Dina would like to name her son after something like that.

Diana (Darren and Cassandra's daughter): Diana is Mortimer and Bella's first granddaughter, so I had to name her after a princess. Diana came naturally to my mind, and she is a Goth princess after all.

Kathy (Daniel and Nina's daughter): Her nickname comes from Katrina. Not much more to say about that... yet.

Bella & Mortimer or Jenny & PT?

Ask This or That?

Jenny & PT. I vibe so much more with their aesthetic/quirks, and I hold my headcanons for them (and most Strangetown premades) close to my heart. Not that I dislike Bella & Mortimer, but I feel a bit more lukewarm or distant about them. I feel like I have a good sense of how sim society saw the famous Dr. Goth and his gorgeous socialite wife, Bella Goth, and I’m into the soap opera drama of being legally still married to your missing wife, but falling in love with her sister-in-law. However, I don’t have many thoughts about Bella & Mortimer’s dynamic (Gomez & Morticia they are not, imo). With Jenny & PT, I have the fuller picture of them, not just the drama around/about them, even if 90% of that picture is of my own creation/pieces of other simmers’ headcanons.
