[ CAS PROJECT ] English Playstations: November 2014
After doing these Playstations for 2 months now, our group is really getting a hang of what we're expected to do and how we should behave during these sessions. Though we are with the children or only an hour a week, we still play a huge role in their lives as they are till very young which means that they may imitate our behavior since they are still curious and developing. Because of this, we have to be very wary of the way we act in a classroom environment so that the children don't get influenced by any negative behavior of any sort.
Because we have been doing these sessions for a while now, we have a clearer idea of where the children are in terms of their English capability, having a better understanding of the level of English each individual child has. From this, we are now able to aid the children in a more efficient way as we can help adjust the lessons according to their capability, helping the children learn at a level in which they can understand.
It has been a very exciting 3 months now and I am looking forward to seeing the children's level of English improve as well as the work of my team.
