On the 23rd of May Crystal Palace Sydney Supporters attended the Footy Fans Downunder annual awards night. Co-Nominated for Best Supporter event with Brighton for the game we played in October (see previous posts). We attend more out of interest and a good night with no expectation of winning.
The night started out well when we meet former Palace player Nicky Carle, who had some interesting things to say about Warnock and Jordan! Nothing too scandalous, just that he believes Warnock was one of the best managers he's worked under but got annoyed the ball was flying over his head most of the time.
The night got better as we joined the Fox Sports table sitting with former Socceroo and Villa star Mark Bosnich and presenter Adam Peacock.
As the good times continued we then won the best supporter event award with brighton.
Towards the end of the night when were getting rowdy our mate Bozza gave us Mile Jedinak's award for Australian overseas player of the year.
Then carried off Jedi's award into the night and off to the next pub. It was a great night and many thanks go to Footy Fans Downunder the boys at fox sports and Brighton.
