FOSTER FAMILY REUINION I AM SO EXCITED
It seemed that the population inside of the training center had, in fact, grown in size greatly. Zalia didn't know there were that many people in the games, but she just assumed that the Capitol was playing tricks on all of their minds. Pushing her way into the gym, she made her way to her station. The shield. But some kid had it? No. This wasn't right. The shield was Zalia's, and everyone knew that. "Hey, put that down!" She called and began to run over to the station much quicker. The boy turned, and who it was shocked Zalia completely. Here he was, her younger brother, Bay. Freezing in place, only inches from him, her eyes wide and mouth gaping, she stared at him. "Bay?"

Bored out of his mind walking around the tower, and still tired from training Jesse stopped in the Lobby taking advantage of the sofa's. He was glad that they were placed out of the way. Sitting down he crossed his legs and picked up one of the magazines. Smiling as he flicked past the many images of men and women in the Capitol's 'fashion' he tried not to laugh. Moving to lie on his back, his head hanging off the edge and feet against the wall he held the magazine above his head. He could remember one similar to it on the train ride here. "Boring. Old. Seen it. Makes the hips look big. Eww, too much brown." Flicking through he finally stopped at a picture of a man in a extremely shiny suit. "Well...that's something.." Turning the page to look at the next suit he heard footsteps near by and lifted the magazine up enough for him to try and see. "Oh Hello."
Darkest Just Before the Dawn | Sposhasha
Sparta and Josh had been planning on checking out the Dragon's Lair for quite some time, but it wasn't until a week and a half before the games that they finally went. Josh had been in there once, but it was a vague memory. He loved the energy, but hated that it that had originated from the alcohol in the club. Still, Sparta really wanted to go with Josh, and he couldn't say no to her. The night after Sparta gave Josh the tuner, the pair decided that was when they went. Dressed in the jacket Sparta had given him, a black fedora he found in his stylist's closet, and some jeans, he was ready to go. Josh took the elevator down to her flat, and knocked on the door connected to the hallway and patiently waited for her to emerge.

i studied it, and this is all i could come up with. it's probably not as realistic as i'd like it to be but yay! tuner :D and it's long i'm sorry
After having thrown one of her best tantrums ever, Sparta had managed to receive both a book on instrumental tuners and Matthew's digital watch. She was set on building an object of her own to give to Josh. She remembered him clearly saying his ukulele would work much better with a tuner, but where would they even find one? That's when Sparta decided she'd use everything she knew from her District to do just that.
According to the book, a tuner worked off of the vibrations or the sound of a chord. She knew what the main notes a ukulele were supposed to be tuned to were. G, C, E, A. Now to actually build the tuner.
Carefully dissecting the watch, Sparta did not alter anything in order to use such item as the display. Leaving everything intact, Sparta then moved on to the empty room with the piano, where she opened the soundboard of the old piano. There, she found the strings and balance pins she had been looking for. When a certain chord was hit, these strings vibrated at a specific frequency, that same vibration, she concluded, was precisely what she needed. Using a cluster of wire she had obtained, Sparta measured the wire carefully and wrapped it around a small piece of wood. The pressure with which it was wrapped and the length of the wire were key to obtain the same vibrating frequency. Using small energy harvesters that were conveniently placed in the back of the flat's television, Sparta then glued them to the bottom of the wood. These captured vibration signals and would only function as batteries when their source vibrated. The source, the wires around the wood, when attached to the sound hole, vibrated only when the correct note was hit, because of its precision. In other words, the screen only lit up when one of the four notes were played.
Returning to her dorm, Sparta focused on attaching the wires to the analog watch and purposefully ran her fingers through the strings, watching the watch display light up. Adding a clip so it could hold on to the sound hole of the ukulele, Sparta then made her way down to District Twelve's flat, played 'eenee minee miny mo' to see which one of the three was Josh's, and walked across the flat. "Hey sunshine," she greeted Birdie, without stopping, then knocked all too excitedly on Josh's door. "GUESS what this is!" She mentally laughed at her own ridiculousness for showing Josh a deformed figure glued to batteries and other nonsense with no apparent figure, still, she grinned and actually waited for an answer.
ONE YEAR OF CAPITOL PUPPETS
On June 4th, 2012, this Roleplay was established. Since then, there has been three full rounds of Hunger Games. In order to celebrate this occasion, there has been an AU created where all the tributes played are placed back in the training center together. Another thing the Mods have done is create a summary of all three rounds. Through out the next two weeks there will be posts on each round. Keep your eyes peeled for them, and we hope you have enjoyed this past year as much as we have!
Little Creepy World || Hayla
Combat training was one activity that Haven had no interest in joining. The other tributes intimidated her and she knew in her heart that even if she turned out to be some kind of genius with a weapon, she wouldn't have a chance against them. She didn't even have the option of killing in self-defense because anyone she hurt would come back to her as a ghost. Instead, she'd resolved to accept her impending death and enjoy the rest of her days as much as possible. She did this by getting fresh air on the roof and in the gardens, borrowing books from one of the small training center collections, and spending time with the friends she was growing to love- no matter how painful it would be to part from them, they remained dear and important to Haven. She was in a small room now with two chairs and a single bookshelf that didn't deserve to call itself a library. Lost in her thoughts, she didn't even notice that she wasn't alone until she reached out and grabbed not a book, but the hand of another tribute. She immediately let go. Physical contact had always made her uncomfortable but she had no trouble managing a smile and a whispered apology, "Sorry. I didn't see you."
