I flew back up to Rockhampton (again) to go on a little fishing tip with dad and some of his mates. We went about 140k up and out from Yeppoon Marina, kinda near Shoalwater Bay/Townshend Island, that sort of area. Was a pretty rough trip out Thursday night but had settled by the morning and we managed to fish all day and get back into the harbour around midnight Friday. Plenty of Nannygai about, a few Emporer and a couple Red Throat, Rosy Jobish and a few cod were scattered around the place. There was a few big (and tiny) sharks around, and we saw probably around 10 or so Whales doing their thing which was a pretty unreal sight. This is the second time i've done the same sort of fishing trip with these guys and it was just as good (I didn't film as much this time though). Which can be seen here!
