In rerun chat this morning someone said they thought Orym was boring and I blew a raspberry at my screen. Orym isn't— look the thing about Orym is he tries very hard to come off like there's nothing to him that doesn't meet the eye, but if you just pay attention to his dialogue, that man is CAGEY AF.
In the whole of c3e2 he gives exactly ONE straight answer to a question about himself and his motives, and it's just a single word with no elaboration before he changes the subject. Every other time, he parries. He dodges. He answers questions with questions.
And here's the thing: we already KNOW he has deeper motivations than he's willing to state to strangers, or even his Crown Keeper friends, because of private moments in ExU and c3e1 where it was just him and one other person (or goddess). He's playing his cards close to his chest. That's different from not having a hand.
You know who else was cagey as all hell? Who deflected personal questions left and right, and tried hard to go unnoticed, at least at first?
