happy new year, friends

2024 has been a transformative year for me and that includes me returning to my joy of drawing, spurred on by the beautiful community we have in the DCA fandom.

it's a little sad to be ending the year with a very stubborn artblock and a joy-sucking slump, but i know the new year will bring more growth. this too shall pass and i will be stronger and wiser for it.

testing out the popsicle stick and skewer structure (ignore the whack tape job, the final thing will be glued, i'm just testing out the arrangement of the sticks and whether or not they can hold the weight of the pins—but seems to hold up pretty good!)
