Enjoy the tastes of the sea with this tasty Crab Cake Burger. A delicious burger for seafood lovers is made with soft lump crab meat mixed with seasonings and served on a toasted bun with fresh toppings.
Ingredients: 1 lb lump crab meat. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tsp Dijon mustard. 1 egg. 1/4 cup chopped green onions. 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper. 1/4 cup chopped celery. 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Pickles. Tartar sauce.
Instructions: Put the egg, green onions, red bell pepper, celery, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add the crab meat and mix it all together. Make 4 crab cakes that are all the same size out of the mixture. Put the pan on medium-high heat and add the oil. For about 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and hot all the way through, cook the crab cakes. In the pan, toast the hamburger buns until they get a little brown. Place a lettuce leaf on top of each bun, then add a crab cake, tomato slices, pickles, and a dollop of tartar sauce. Enjoy while hot!
