But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 In ancient times, people sought out cracked clay pots because they made the best lanterns that lit their way. We may be broken and imperfect like those clay pots, but let God shine through the cracks in your life and illuminate the way for yourself and others. Each of us has our own unique flaws. We’re all cracked pots. But it’s these flaws that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. God chooses these cracked pots to put His treasure (the Holy Spirit) so that people will know the light within is Him and not us. Let God shine through the cracks in your life!
