"One more time!"
You couldn't stop your laugh as you saw Seokjin's ruthless smile. Everyone was pouring sweat at this point, Taehyung looking about two steps away from punching the next person that looked in his direction.
"Hyung! This is ridiculous!" Jungkook whined, whipping his hat off to wipe his forehead. "We've been practicing for hours-"
Seokjin turned, back rim-rod straight and eyes ablaze with righteous fury. "Did you learn nothing in the military? As your commander, I think you're showing a rather lackluster performance."
Jimin groaned, still laying on the floor. He stared up at the ceiling with a dazed look in his eye. "Send me back to the army," he mumbled wistfully. "We at least got to sleep before the sun came up again."
Yoongi and Hoseok were leaning up against each other, and you wondered who would collapse first. Hoseok looked as if he was regretting the past fifteen years of his life.
"Look, Seokjin-ah-" he started, but Seokjin cut him off with a glare.
"Commander Kim to you, Hoseokie." He shook his head. "Of all the people, I thought you'd understand..."
Namjoon stumbled forward, staring at his reflection in the mirror. "Birth is a curse, and existence is a prison."
The room fell silent as they watched their leader ponder the pain of existence, but the quiet didn't last long. Seokjin turned to you, saluting. He'd been out of the military longer than anyone here, but he still lived for it. To be honest, you'd never been more entertained in your life.
"Cue the music," he instructed, and you obeyed immediately. As their newest song trickled in through the speakers, Seokjin strode up to Namjoon and clapped a hand on his shoulder.
Namjoon whimpered.
"Life is a party," Seokjin corrected, pulling Namjoon back into formation. "And I'm the piñata."
And just like that, Seokjin began the choreography over again with more energy than before.
