“Are you okay?” Jane asked as she passed a glass to Hattie.

The other woman just nodded.

“Hattie…”

“Any news about my brothers?” She asked before taking a long sip from her drink.

Jane hesitated only for a beat. “No. We’ve lost contact with both of them.”

Hattie pressed her lips together. “And my mother?”

“We also don’t know. But Deckard was with her before the attack.”

Hattie just nodded one more time.

“Hattie, we’ll fix this. We’ll get them back for this.” Jane promised her.

Hattie finally turned to look at her, her eyes ice cold.

“Yes, we will.” She got up. “Find the others. If you can’t get me guns.”

“You’re not going alone.” Jane said immediately.

“Of course not. You’re coming with me.”

“What do you think you have to offer me?” Conan asked.

She’d come all this way, talking big and shit, but he was curious. And he had time.

All he had was time, if not patience.

“Khalar Zym’s head.” She told him confidently.

“Yeah… You did say that, but why should I trust you?” He sat down, sprawled on his chair. “You obviously need help, or you wouldn’t be here.”

Freya nodded. “He has an army. I am on my own.”

Conan hummed. “A queen without an army, hm? Not much of a queen.”

She gave him a cold look, then turned to his window. “I used to have an army, but…” She shook her head. “Things change.”

“Touching.” He scoffed. “So you want me to use my pack to get you close to him.”

“To get us close to him.” She corrected, turning back to him. “You can have his head, deliver the killing blow, whatever you wolves do.”

“Then what do you want?”

“He has something that belongs to me, and I want it back.”

“It must be something pretty special for you to want to get in bed with me.”

Freya rolled her eyes. “That’s none of your business.”

Conan hummed again. “Is that so?”

“Do we have a deal?”

He gave her a long slow look. “We just might.” He smirked at her.

It’s been a long time since we set sail together, but here we are!

“You can glare as much as you want, princess.” Klaus told her without even looking in her direction. “It won’t change a thing.”

“Goddess.”

He finally threw her a look over his shoulder. “I beg your pardon?”

“Goddess, not princess.”

Klaus snorted, turning his body to fully look at her. “Somebody doesn’t have self-esteem issues.”

Kisa shrugged. “I didn’t give myself this title, but it was given to me for a reason.”

“I don’t care.” Klaus told her simply. “I care about the money.”

“I know. That’s what you are, a hunting dog.”

Klaus was amused. “Do you think name calling is going to get you anywhere?”

Kisa sighed. “Don’t worry, Mikaelson, I’m not going to waste my breath on the subject.”

“That’s the spirit. You’re caught, your men couldn’t save you… It’s easier to accept it.”

She snorted. “I didn’t say I’ve accepted anything.” Kisa pointed out. “I just said I won’t waste my breath.”

Klaus snickered. “Do you think you can still get away from me? I’ve hunted you down, you’re defeated. Accept it.”

She crossed her legs. “It’s cute that you think so.”

“Why are you looking at me like this?” Susan asked, after taking a sip from her wine.

“I’m just impressed.” Erik admitted. “I didn’t know you were this well connected.”

She chuckled. “Just because I got us a table?”

“I’ve heard this is no easy feat here.”

“My brother Peter knows the owner.” She told him. “He was happy to have me.”

Erik nodded. “Well, I’m grateful.”

She hummed. “Are you grateful to Charles as well?”

Erik groaned, then grinned. “Charles should mind his business, but I do have to say that I don’t mind it this time.”

“I just…” She cleared her throat. “I’d hate to think you’re here against your will.”

“Trust me, Susan, I’m not the type of man that does things I don’t want to do.”

Well… Damn.

Susan had a -huge- crush on Erik, but she didn’t pretend to know everything about him. She actually knew very little, because he was a very private person. But this intensity of his? Yeah… That always got her.

She took another sip of her wine. “So… You don’t mind being on a date with me.”

He opened a slow grin. “Not at all.”

Han didn’t even startle awake when a hand started groping him in the middle of the night, even though he was supposed to be alone.

“No.” He grumbled against the pillow.

A kiss was dropped to his nape. “Oh…”

He sighed. “Why are you in my house, Face?”

“I felt lonely.” Another kiss.

Han opened his eyes and looked at the clock next to his bed. “At 3 in the morning?”

“I was working and I missed you.”

Han let out a long -frustrated sigh -and finally turned around. Face had once again sneaked into his house and in his bed.

Was he surprised? Not really.

Was he a bit pissed to be awakened like this? Yes, he liked sleeping.

“Why can’t you miss me at normal hours?” He asked the other man.

“Like inspiration, dear, horniness comes at unexpected hours.” Face informed him, completely shameless.

“So you didn’t miss me, you felt horny.” Han said dryly.

“Technically yes, but I was thinking of you, anyway.”

Han hit him with a pillow.

“I have rights.” Katia protested, even as the man in black dumped her on the floor of his ship.

He’d handcuffed her, and she didn’t even know what for.

Like, there were many reasons she could be arrested, and she believed she deserved to know why.

Besides, as far as she knew, Jedi didn’t go around arresting people for petty crimes.

“Are you really a Jedi? Or did you steal that from one?” She indicated the lightsaber on his waist.

He kept on ignoring her, and Katia was starting to get really annoyed by this bullshit.

“Hey, you! All in black! I’m talking to you!” She protested.

Suddenly he was right there, crouching in front of her. Katia recoiled reflexively, expecting at least a slap, but when nothing came she risked a look.

He had a device in his hand.

An hologram came out and… Was that 47?

“Katia, I need you to trust Snake Eyes. He doesn’t talk, don’t ask me why. He’ll bring you to me. This is important. Do not run away from him.”

The message was over.

Katia looked at the black mask in front of her.

“Your name is Snake Eyes?” She scoffed.

“We are never getting to New York alive.”

Lorraine gave Frank a look. “Oh, ye of little faith.”

He was not amused. “They have an army after you.”

“I thought it was us.” She threw at him.

“I don’t even know why I’m here.”

“Because, despite the general grumpiness of your disposition, you’re a decent man and you know another war would be bad.”

Frank let out a long sigh and closed his eyes.

Lorraine let him have this moment, because she’d been asking a lot of him recently, especially if she were to consider how much she’d lied to him at first.

She would never admit, but having Frank there gave her a strange comfort. He was right: New York was a long way and they hadn’t even managed to get onto the train. The people hunting her had a lot to lose if the President was made aware of their plans.

“Frank?” She called softly.

“What?” He grumbled.

“I know this is a lot. And, if nothing else, I appreciate you not throwing me their way.”

He opened his eyes and gave her one of those impatient looks he had. “I’d never do that. I was paid to get you to the train station, and I always finish my jobs.”

She had to laugh at that.
