“I guess it depends on whom you ask.” She grinned.
“You shouldn’t even be here. If your uncle finds out…”
Darcy rolled her eyes. “Uncle John isn’t worried about those things.”
“He does when it comes to you!” He protested. “If he even dreams that you’re running around with SHIELD of all things…”
“Oh my god, Face. Are you my father now?” She snorted. “Listen, it’s a job, okay? It pays well.”
Face frowned. “Does it?”
Darcy made a face. “Kind of. It’s decent. My point…”
“My point is…” Face said coming closer. “You don’t call, you don’t visit… Now you’re pointing a gun at me. My heart is broken.”
Darcy snorted. “I’m sure you’ll recover.”
“I might, if you take me out to dinner.” He smirked.
“I have to take you out?” She snorted again. “Dude, you have a high opinion of your dubious charms.”
“Dubious?” He gasped. “Don’t be mean, Dar.”
“I can’t help it, Face.”
