Summary: One day, Annatar returns to Eregion with a young man from the East in tow. Celebrimbor is not quite sure what to make of Annatar’s newfound fascination with teaching this mortal his craft — he will be dead before he makes any serious use of it. Or so Celebrimbor thinks. Should Celebrimbor be jealous of Annatar’s new protégé? Will he bring camaraderie or discord to Eregion?

Written for Silvergifting Week 2025: Threesomes. I feel I always make Annatar the jealous one. Why not switch it up on Celebrimbor for a change? Turns out neither seems to trust the other. Not 100% canon compliant but I really, really, tried for what was an excuse to write a crack pairing. Ended up way more serious than I intended.
