🩵(Clanwide)- Has any cat in the Clan faced cruelty for being queer, trans, or intersex? How did they deal with it?
Drizzlestar actually faced some ridicule for being gay. Because of his specific talents (being able to weave baskets and create things from seemingly nothing, hence the suffix -weaver), he was expected to pass those on to his own kits. Being gay, it was assumed he would never have kits and he wouldn't pass on his talents. He was often berated for it, particularly by his own parents and the elders of his former clan.
Metalvalley came out when he was still a kit and was bullied and harassed relentlessly for being trans. His parents weren't the most accepting either and told him to tough it out if he was so determined to be a tom. Really shitty yk? He got into a lot of fights, especially with older cats (older kits and apprentices mostly, though he did get in a few fights as a warrior) because no one would respect him. Only a handful of other queer cats in the clan actually supported him, plus his sister (whom of which is dead now, but her supportiveness impacted Metalvalley in such a way he'll never forget).
Bristlejumble, who is also trans, didnt actually face as much ridicule as Metalvalley. He wasn't clanborn either, so the clan never knew him as anything other than the strange smelling cat he is (he used lemongrass to disguse his molly scent). He was adamant that he was a tom, despite not having any jowls and missing his more masculine bits (his excuse is he was got by a cutter).
Waxbumble was often talked down at because he never actually got into a relationship (he is aroace, no interest in mates). He made it clear all he wanted were kits, but he never wanted mates ever. He had kits, but then lost them during the first attack of the undead, so he partially thinks it was a punishment from StarClan unfortunatley.

Yes I do! Basically no one is cis. Aside from Drizzle, Perch, and Wax- but even then they aren't particularly connected to their genders. Everyone else has a solid identity, listed as: Metalvalley and Bristlejumble are both trans toms as Metal being he/it/they and Bristle being he/hym; Campionkit will be genderqueer as he/any; Azurekit will be nonbinary as he/they; Kestrelkit will be bigender as she/he; and Tortrixkit will be agender as she/her!
