I saw some intriguing solo dresses from Craggane Designs so I looked them up and they’ve got some cool but unusual stuff going on. I loved this one on their website so went to their Facebook page for a better image: they call it the “Thor” dress, which seems appropriate. I really like the way the skirt evokes a kilt and the predominance of knotwork in the design. The colour scheme is pretty cool too: brown seems quite unusual in solo dresses. Still, it’s an interesting design!
It looks like they also have an alternate bodice for it, which is a cool idea, and has the advantage of keeping the cool skirt. But I think I prefer the first bodice because knotwork > sequins any day, imo.
