Another hidden gem of 90s horror, I'm happy to have discovered Nightbreed for myself.
Watch a teaser for the upcoming 3-hour "Ultimate Cabal Cut" of Nightbreed
An “Ultimate” three-hour version of the already lengthier “Cabal Cut” of Clive Barker’s 1990 monster movie Nightbreed, is being assembled. “The Ultimate Cabal Cut” will feature unseen footage that wasn’t in the theatrical release, Scream Factory’s “Director’s Cut” or even the aforementioned Cabal Cut.
Meanwhile, here’s our coverage…

A River Runs Through It - Fish Tales
At the time we caught this in the theater, we thought it was 'refreshingly grown up' and intelligent. Unfortunately, it has receded alarmingly fast in our memories, to the point that I barely remember the premise. Directed by Robert Redford, and based on a series of three short stories by Norman Maclean, the story tells of a presbyterian family with two sons. The two sons go in different directions, and there was a lot of 'fly fishing philosophy' throughout. I remember beautiful scenery, and decent acting. From what I read on imdb, it was once thought of as a vehicle for Lloyd Bridges and his two sons (which might have been very interesting in the seventies)
