This cranberry sauce made in a slow cooker is very simple to make and tastes great. Putting fresh cranberries, orange juice, and warm spices together makes a tasty sauce that goes well with holiday foods. Plus it doesn't have gluten!
Ingredients: 12 oz fresh cranberries. 1 cup orange juice. 1/2 cup honey. 1/4 cup water. 1 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/4 tsp ground cloves.
Instructions: Rinse the cranberries and remove any stems. In a slow cooker, combine cranberries, orange juice, honey, water, cinnamon, and cloves. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened. Stir occasionally during cooking. Once done, taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey. Let cool before serving. The sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
