So I went to get some weird light touch therapy to see if it could help with my anxiety. And like, I’m sitting there and I’m like.. you gotta play the game Bloo. If you don’t believe it will help then it won’t. Plus the woman keeps asking me questions about how things feel or what I’m noticing etc and I mean I have to give an answer. My mum is right there too, so I feel both their eyes on me during the whole thing.
I’m sitting there, trying to get my head in the game and then what comes on? Fucking, I FEEL IT COMING.
I’m sitting there, being lightly touched by this random woman and my mother. Trying to relax and let whatever they’re apparently doing work their magic and I Feel It Coming comes on. And for some reason I found that so fucking amusing and I had to wrestle the smile that wanted to break across my face because I didn’t want the woman asking what I was feeling or what I’m noticing to cause the smile and the more I think about it the more I’m trying not to laugh.
Tbh it was probably singlehandedly one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever been through, the whole therapy session and I’m scheduled to go back next week. Ugh.

Cherry blossoms. They smell faintly of cherries! Just completed four more days of training in Craniosacral Biodynamics. The focus was on the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). I learned a new way to work with the spine, assisting vertebrae to find better alignment. The real jewel in this training is a technique that Clears Your Head. We practiced on each other, and everyone was so present, bright, alert, and open after! My teacher says everyone needs this kind of session at least once a year, and it’s especially helpful for brain fog, respiratory sinus congestion, long COVID, tinnitus, vascular migraines, clearing anesthesia after surgery, chemo fog, loss of smell. It’s contraindicated after TBIs, brain surgery, stroke. #craniosacralbiodynamics #craniosacraltherapy #craniosacral #cranio #training #BCTA #wellnessinstitute #rogergilchrist #clearyourhead #imeanliterally https://www.instagram.com/p/CqLFpZlO8SM/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Just sayin Yes did Dr Andrew Taylor Still put work in and genuinely study? Yes. Did he learn from the Native American Shawnee nation, yes. Was it documented anywhere that he learned from them as an adopted child? Yes. Did he so bad things like dig up sacred burial sites to study bones? Yes he did. Was that documented and verified? Yes it was. Was he probably a good guy who didn’t realize he was white man-splaining indigenous wisdom? It appears so. Should we credit where credit is due?? There are no shoulds AND yes I take great pleasure in that even as a white woman being western medicine-splained and shamed for as long as I remember which is ridiculous. This also means polarity therapy is in part originated from the Shawnee nation since Dr Stone roots are partly from Dr Andrew Taylor Still and he was a doctor of osteopathy. Love. Forgiveness. My dear friend Sunny posted this on Facebook. I’d gotten some news that was slightly disturbing. Nothing I could do anything about… This got me back into a positive state, along with the mockingbirds singing and woodpecker pecking and other birds chirping right outside my windows. Spring is on its way, here in Austin, TX, and today is being well-lived. Finishing my Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath training, meditating, learning, taking stuff to Goodwill, shopping for sandals…and I get to work with an amazing client later! (They’re all amazing, and I feel so blessed to get to be doing the work that I do.) #happinessdancing #love #lifeisgood #craniosacralbiodynamics #craniosacraltherapy #craniosacral #biodynamics #bcst #meditation #biodynamicmeditation #coherence #HeartMath (at Manchaca, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpNi-EMuvoM/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
