When you think about it, the focus on old titans makes sense because the new titans: Kory, Rachel, Gar and Conner would be too much sauce for Slade.
Slade vs. New Titans:
#bare minimum would have slade with the please stop#voice wiggling#breath shaky#crawling away#meanwhile kory is giggling at him#conner is ooh shiny and following a weird looking green spider#gar is trying to get away from conner so he can turn back without freaking him out and getting burned up#rachel is ready to k.o him so she doesn't have to hear dawn hank or donna moan about this little human ever again#after she went toe to toe with demon daddy (he was slyly weak but that's not today's essay)#and dick's asleep in the car#guilt shame and blame makes a puppy sleepy#but he's recovering now with the support of the new titans#dcu titans#slade wilson
