Now now, I don't "hate" genres but also there are enough genres I don't listen to - indeed I'm not the "I listen to any kinds of music" type. So for something special from a genre I don't otherwise do, here's Crazy Loop with Famikon! Fyi, it's one of the O-Zone guys, might be some of you heard of that band...

For a song to remind me of home... it has to be a nostalgic one right? So here's this old Romanian prog rock band, heavily influenced by Yes and Jethro Tull as they loved themselves to underline, called Sfinx, with their short Epilogue from an album I must have played hundreds of times:

8 years ago i found and became obsessed with johanna shut up by crazy loop. a few weeks ago i was reminded abt this so i went on a crazy loop deep dive. crazy loop is dan balan, dan balan was in ozone. ozone is responsible for dragosta din tei. i am now in love with dan balan.

Everyone remembers the numa numa song right? Did anyone else hyperfocus on it and go down a rabbit hole and become obsessed with the band (O-Zone) and discover that they had split and they were all doing solo projects and then get obsessed with a specific song from each of them only to forget about it until years later when the Rasputin song reminded you of them for some reason and now you’re on a trip down nostalgia lane listening to them on repeat?

Just me? Ok.

I was looking at a few old Disney movies and I realized something. Phil Collins did the music for Tarzan, Elton John contributed to the music of The Lion King, and even Billy Joel sang a song for Oliver and Company. Disney seems to have a history of tapping into popular musicians to make their movies more relatable. My question is, if you could have any currently popular musician or band do the music for an animated film, who would you like to see and why?

I’m not with the times enough to even know who’s popular right now. Disney should hire Crazy Loop for their next project, just to confuse everybody.Besides that, Gorillaz and Daft Punk still drag butts into seats and they create interesting songs, they’d be cool to hear on a big screen.
