i remember back in high school i posted on twt asking if people had any ideas for how to make a character’s cane for a cosplay and someone went TO ME DMS to ask if i used a cane irl and when i said no they literally went erm on behalf of real cane users you shouldn’t use one as a cosplay prop :/ and because i was young and stupid i listened to them like an idiot and just didn’t include one of the character’s key traits because i was scared of being canceled
