I feel like this face mask brings this look closer to the original inspiration, which was what people would wear in virtual reality if they were dead and didn't know they were dead, a la Ubik by Philip K. Dick. It turns out it's a little bit difficult to interpret a multi level inspiration into clothes because you've already got the level of it being clothing to get around. So eventually I sort of dropped the being dead thing.

My hair inspiration is Sarge from Cleopatra 2525 and if you didn't run home everyday in the early 2000's to watch that I'm sorry but we can't be best friends.
