Well, it looks like I need to change my Next Gen baby’s Semblance from Ice to the standard Schnee Glyphs. I’ll keep the ice semblance for interactions in the main series timeline, but she’s Winter’s daughter in her native Next Generation storyline so yay genetics.
So, it’s been a while since I’ve been on this blog and I have an announcement to make. I have far too many individual blogs to keep track of, so this blog is going to be migrated over to being a sideblog of my Blake Belladonna RP blog, bellxna. This blog will remain up as an archive for what has been done and most things as far as relationships will carry over. This is more for my own sake and it will be easier for me to keep up and stay active. I’ll make another post here when I finally finish.
Autumn and the rest of her teammates entered the White Fang base that was located on an outer wall of the Kingdom through a sewage tunnel. “Ugh... This smell is not going to wash out for weeks.” Hailee complained as she readied her weapons. “Quit complaining, Hailee. We could have easily been stiffed with the majority of the White Fang’s forces top side, like team AEGS and our huntsmen were, but we were given the chance to go the easier route.” Aden stated as he peered into the next room, then signaled with his hand for the others to come in.
‘Okay, so we have one goal.” Autumn approached her teammates. “We need to get the remote to stop those explosives from detonating a hole in the border of the city. If that happens, all sorts of Grimm are gonna get in here and that’s not good news. Now then, judging from the info that our friends who infiltrated the White Fang, the detonator for the device is just up ahead a few rooms down. “Let’s go.” Autumn ran ahead of her teammates. Upon entering the next room they all suddenly halted.
A spiky auburn haired man wearing a black trench coat with a rather huge sword that had what seemed to be a clock at the base of it stood in their path. Aden stepped ahead. “I’ll deal with this guy, you guys go ahead.” he insisted as Arthur then stepped forward. “We’ll deal with him.” he assured, “Go. Now.” the strawberry blonde insisted as Autumn and Hailee nodded and ran to the other end of the room for the door while the man in the trench coat stared at Arthur and Aden. His maroon eyes seemingly glowing brighter.
Upon entering the next room, Hailee and Autumn halted almost immediately. The man was all too familiar to both of them. “Alwyn.” Hailee grit her teeth. “Oh hey there, kiddo! How’s your mother been doing in the hospital? She okay? Tell me when she wakes up so I can finish the job properly.” the shark faunus laughed as Hailee stepped forward. “Autumn, you go on ahead. This guy is mine.” she looked to her cousin. “Hailee, remember his semblance.” Autumn stated. “Oh I do.” she smirked a bit. “Good.” Autumn then ran ahead of Hailee. Alwyn pulling his hammer out and bringing it down on Autumn in an attempt to stop her, but Hailee then shot an ice shard at him, interrupting his attack. “Hey, sharkface! Your fight’s with me!” she insisted as she readied her wrist bracers, the spears of them transforming into their trident forms and smiled as Autumn left the room. “Heh... Okay water girl, you’re now on the menu.” Alwyn smiled, his razor sharp teeth visible as he looked down on Hailee.
Autumn then entered the room with the detonation device as Drake was about to press the button. “Autumn! You’re just in time to watch the fireworks.” he chuckled a bit, his reptilian like eyes glaring at Autumn’s silver. “This stops here and now Drake.” Autumn glared at him. “Funny, you got here without a weapon.” Drake taunted as he put down the detonation device. “I suppose this time I’ll try not to miss my mark and kill you quicker.” his tone changed to be more serious as Autumn smirked. “Oh I have something to fight you with..” she readied her rapier, which was still in it’s revolver mode in it’s holster as she glared at Drake.
“Have at you, Autumn.” Drake unsheathed his sword as Autumn ran at him, transforming her weapon into it’s rapier form and activating it’s flare dust almost instantly as Drake’s weapon made contact with it, Drake getting knocked up in the air by it before Autumn leaped up with help from her semblance and stabbed at Drake several times, Drake, blocking a few of them but getting hit by the last hit, which was a downwards vertical strike and knocked back before Autumn stabbed down at him as she landed, Drake doing a back flip to dodge the stab as he then activated his semblance which amplified his weapon and brought his sword down on the ground, which sent an eruption of earth directly at Autumn, which she then countered by freezing the ground in front of her with ice dust. and then jumping over the small pillar of ice she had created and stabbed at Drake, Drake blocking her strikes for the most part, but due to the freeze dust in her weapon being active, it slowly froze him over the few times she did hit through his guard, preventing him from moving as Autumn leaped back one more time and activated her rapier’s electric dust and slashed downwards, a shock wave of electricity flying directly at Drake, whom still couldn’t move, which hit him directly, shattering the ice he was encased in and knocking him to the back wall of the room,
Drake groaned a bit as he then reached for his weapon, but Autumn stepped on his hand and pointed her weapon in it’s revolver mode at him. His eyes darted left and right, thinking of an idea before he had one. “Kill me Autumn... Don’t you want revenge for all those people I killed? For all that pain I caused you.” Autumn glared at him, her gaze upon him faltering as he smirked, Autumn then transforming her weapon into it’s rapier form and pointing it at his throat, the smirk still plastered on Drake’s face.
Back in the other room Hailee was hit directly by Alwyn’s war hammer as she then rolled to the left, dodging a swipe of it, as he had activated his weapon’s flail function, the head of the hammer, flung around, attached to a chain as he then hit one of the water pipes that were in the room. Hailee smirked and fired out one of her weapon’s harpoons and yanked back on a pipe’s valve, sending a powerful blast of water at Alwyn, knocking him aside. Hailee, taking advantage of this opening, threw a punch directly at his face, which didn’t make him flinch all that much as he then hit her upwards with his hammer, knocking her onto more of the pipes in the room. Hailee then fired another harpoon shot at a pipe and yanked back again, another blast of water, just grazing Alwyn, as he then walked through before Hailee stood up and then threw another punch at him, this time with ice from her semblance on her fist, the ice shattering upon making contact with his chest, knocking him backwards. Hailee smirked a bit as she then fired a harpoon shot directly, at him. Alwyn dodged to the right of it and smirked, pulling on the chain of it, to send Hailee flying right at his hammer. Hailee then let out a bit of a chuckle as she then used the water in the room to freeze Alwyn up to his torso, which caught him off guard as she then used the momentum of his pull to punch him directly in the face with ice attached to her weapon.
Aden and Arthur looked on to their opponent. Arthur’s weapon readied as Aden nodded to him. Both charged at the strange man, suddenly they were back where they were standing. “What?” they then charged at him again, to find themselves back in place as the man looked at them. “It must be this guy’s semblance.” Arthur looked to Aden. “I have an idea.” Arthur stated, this time charging in first, and being put back in place. However Aden was already at this guy’s face and swung his bat at him. The man blocking at a rather fast speed, given the large sword he was holding. Arthur then came in to attack from the other side, the man blocking Arthur as well. Arthur then stabbed at him, but was then pushed into Aden. “What is with this guy?” Aden groaned a bit as he got up. “He must be abile to manipulate the time around him, that’s the only way he’d be able to move this fast.” Arthur brought his shield out. ‘Haste dust maybe? Maybe I could absorb it.” Aden looked to Arthur. “I dunno... But-” Arthur was immediately knocked back by the blunt force of a large sword as Aden hit the man’s sword with his bat, the dust in his bat seemingly having little to no effect on the man’s sword. “Shouldn’t there be like an explos-” the explosion of the dust in his bat knocked Aden back. The man stood over the two, his sword unsheathed.
Just as the man was about to stab Aden suddenly he blocked a couple of sword slashes from a girl who looked very similar to Arthur. “Well it looks like we got here just in time.” Arturia stated as she then readied her weapon looking to the man. Erika, Gareth and Ciro entered the room behind her. Erika glaring at the man with her boots readied. The man was ready to engage them when suddenly there was a flash in his eyes when he looked at Erika and everything felt like static to him. “Br-Brother?” a young female voice called out to him as he held his head and looked at the four, he then vanished in a blur. “I guess we scared him off.” Gareth chuckled a bit as Erika went to help Aden and Arthur.
“What are you waiting for Autumn aren’t you going to kill m-” Drake’s taunting of the girl was immediately interrupted by the door getting knocked down and Alwyn crashing into a wall. “Sorry, I’m late Autumn.” Hailee chuckled a bit as she saw Autumn’s position. “I see you took care of that jerk.” she grinned. “Yeah, well-” Autumn was then suddenly thrown back as Drake got up and picked up the detonator for the device and stood up with a foot on the balcony. “Sorry to say ladies but your fighting was all for nothing, now then it’s time to blow a hole in the ego of the Kingdoms!” Drake grinned as he then pressed the button. Nothing had happened though.
“What?!” he pressed it several more times as Autumn got up, laughing. “Did you really think we wouldn’t have a plan for disabling that thing?” Autumn walked over to Hailee and looked at him. “What?! How did you disable those explosives?!” Drake crushed the detonator in his hand out of frustration. “Simple really, funny all the wonders of Freeze dust.” Autumn chuckled a bit. “And the fact that you thought your forces on the outside would be enough for all of us.” Blake entered the room with Azure and Ruby. “Ruby Rose? When did you get here?” Drake pointed his weapon at everyone as he realized he was backed into a corner with no hopes of escape, the detonator dropping out of his hand and off the ledge. He would then notice hordes of Grimm gathered at the bottom of of said ledge, it seems everything that was going on here had attracted them as planned. But with no Kingdom to bust into, it seemed all for naught.
“Well we figured you only expected 2 huntresses, so I snuck along for this little mission. Not to mention keep track of my daughter.” Ruby smiled to Autumn as Autumn rolled her eyes and looked away. Team AEGS arrived with Arthur and Aden. “You are so screwed.” Aden stated as he walked over to Autumn’s side. “It’s over Drake. You lost.” Autumn pointed her rapier at him. “Over?” Drake couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. “It’s not over!” Drake grabbed his sword and was about to use his semblance to create a shock wave into the ground that would hit everyone in the room but Hailee, thinking quickly used some of the runoff water from her fight with Alwyn to start freezing the balcony’s railing in an attempt to freeze Drake’s leg to prevent him from moving, however Drake was moving so she couldn’t freeze him.
He had a simple plan in motion, to climb up on the ledge and jump down, creating a shock wave that would hit and destroy the whole floor along with everyone on it. However he didn’t account for the ice that Hailee had just made on the ledge, which resulted in him slipping. “What?!” he fell backwards off the balcony screaming as he was now falling towards the hordes of Grimm that he had gathered there to destroy the Kingdom.
Ruby hugged Autumn tightly as she looked to her teammates. “I was trying to freeze his leg so he wouldn’t have been able to move, Autumn.” Hailee looked down. “You didn’t kill him, Hailee...” Ruby put a hand on the girl’s shoulder. “He killed himself.” Blake finished as she walked over to the ledge and looked down. Blake looked to the group and shook her head. “So... We gonna put Sharky away again?” Aden pointed to Alwyn. “Yeah. Already on it. The Vale PD will be here any moment to arrest him, and all of the other goons. I’ll make sure he doesn’t go anywhere.” Azure assured them. “So..” Ciro looked to everyone. “Am I the only one that’s hungry?”
A couple of hours later, teams RATH, AEGS, Ruby, Blake and Azure were all sitting at A Simple Wok. “So...” Autumn looked to Ruby. “Yes, you’re grounded for taking part in a dangerous mission without telling me.” Ruby sipped her drink. “Oh...” Autumn looked down.
crbnfiber liked your post: [[I HAVE A REALLY COOL AU IDEA FOR REN/JAUNE OR...
[[This is gonna go under the cut so that I don’t clutter the dash]]
Okay, so it’s a medievil/fantasy au (I haven’t quite ironed out the details all the way) but the premise is that Jaune/Sun is a Prince to a kingdom, and is being told that he has to take a bride. So a big call goes out that any unmarried woman under the age of (i’m gonna say 17 because that’s canon age but, details) is to gather at their local town center, where an adviser chooses the prettiest girl, to be brought before the prince to have the final choice.
Jaune/Sun is walking down this line of a dozen or so girls, not happy about this arranged marriage business- especially because he wants to know the girl he’s going to spend the rest of his life with, fall in love with her. He looks at them all, who are all very pretty, but all noble’s daughters, all dressed up and basically trying to get in for the fame and the wealth and the prestige. Save for one girl right at the end dressed very simply, face hidden mostly by a scarf with bright fuchsia eyes.
He goes to answer questions, but she refuses to speak, and yet doesn’t look away. So, he chooses her, and decides he’s going to figure out what she’s about.
A few weeks of attempted bonding later (with limited success, they’re kind of getting towards friendship), Jaune/Sun accidently runs into her without her scarf- and shirt on, and shock- it’s Ren, who has to sit Jaune/Ren down and explain he’d done it only to save his childhood friend from having to be married off (Nora, obviously, in this, she’d wanted to become a blacksmith, so he’d given up everything to make her happy). He even admits he didn’t think Jaune/Sun would choose him, but if he has to punish anyone, punish Ren, not Nora, please.
But Jaune/Sun is impressed by his dedication and big heart, compared to everyone else in the castle, and doesn’t punish Ren, but instead promises to keep him safe. Then more bonding, sharing of stories and teaching each other things, very cute, very romantic. Of course mutual crushing happens, but they both think it’s one sided.
It culminates in Ren having to protect Jaune from rivals for his throne and Jaune protecting Ren from the angry advisers.
TTG is irredeemable trash and anyone who defends it is in severe need of having their sanity checked because they're so criminally insane they would make The Joker back up and stare.
Laura blinked at the package of food in Catarina’s hands and up at her. “Uh… Not that I’m complaining, but– what’s the occasion? Is there a party going on that I didn’t know about?”
A teenage boy stood in an elevator with a vacant expression. His hair was short and ginger, with a single cowlick poking out, his eyes were bright green and he wore a gray jacket with black turtle neck that had a few glowing green lines running down it along with black pants with similar green lines running down them that went all the way to his boots. That had much of the same pattern except the green lines went to a disk like symbol on his boots that were on the sides.
Next to the boy was an older woman whom he didn’t pay much mind to, he knew of her as his Mother. But everyone else called her by her real name, Penny Polendina. She had created him to be her son and partake in this government project, giving him the simple name of Gizmo. She would have built him to just be her son if she had the rights to do so, but she only had those rights with the Atlesian government, so that’s how she went about it. She had explained to him.
The elevator came to a stop suddenly as his Mother stepped out first, he followed behind shortly after. They seemed to be walking down a hallway that had what appeared to be closed windows, as if to hide what was going on in the other side. His Mother entered the door at the end of the hallway with him following shortly behind. The door had a title right next to it. Director’s office.
He was soon stopped by a couple of guards that seemed to be inspecting him as if he was going to explode. “I apologize for the inconveniences, Gizmo. These men are just making sure you’re safe. It’s standard security protocol.” Gizmo’s Mother explained to him.
“Ms. Polendina. It’s always a pleasure to see you around!” a man’s voice stated. It had come from the desk as the man turned around in his chair. The man had silver hair that went over one of his eyes and his visible eye was a dull burgundy color. He wore a white vest over what seemed to be a black jacket with a bit of a turtleneck to it and as he stood up his pants were but simple black dress pants along with loafers on his feet. “Director Hal... No need for the formalities.” Penny rolled her eyes as Director Hal approached her and kissed her hand. “Of course, Penny.” he chuckled a bit.
“So... How’s your son been doing? The operation was a success, right?” Penny asked him. “Felix has been fine since the operation.” Director Hal assured. “And when he’s fully recovered in the hospital and adjusted to things, I think it’s time I give him his own section of the company to manage. I feel that he’s ready.” Director Hal sat back down in his chair and looked to Gizmo.
“So... This is your boy?” he asked Penny. “That would be correct.” Penny smiled. “I can see the striking resemblance.” Director Hal chuckled. “Well I made him to appear like he would if you know... I could have a kid.” she watched as Gizmo stepped forward.
“So tell me, Son... What can you do?” Director Hal inquired Gizmo. “I have been built with a complex problem solving AI unit installed that is capable of learning, identifying threats, finding weaknesses and figuring out ways to neutralize said threats by exploiting these weaknesses.” Gizmo answered in a blank tone.
“I also carry a double bladed sword that can double as a shuriken called the Fractured Gear. It is capable of adding in additional upgrades at later points in time.” he demonstrated as his weapon’s hilt detached from his back. It was the infinity symbol that was part of the back of his jacket that then attached to two bladed that extended out of his sleeves and he then transformed his weapon into a four bladed shuriken. “My weapon is made from the finest steel forged in Blanca Steel refineries. My weapon is more durable than the most standard of weapons.”
“I am impressed, Penny. You definitely built a great one.” Director Hal nodded in approval. Penny smiled proudly to her son and hugged him tightly. “You’re going to do great things, Gizmo. And when all is said and done. You’ll go home and we’ll be able to do Mother and son activities!” she assured him as she looked at him in the eyes before she turned away and started towards the door.
Gizmo instinctively followed her. “Mother, where are you going?” he asked her. “Gizmo... I can’t stay with you. I’m allowed a visit once a month.” she turned around before she was hugged by him. “But... I’m your son, right?” he looked at her. “Yes... You are... But. You have to do this for me, Gizmo. It was the only way I could get the permission to build you.” she put her hand to his cheek. “I love you very much Gizmo. Promise me you’ll do this and make things better, okay?” she looked him in the eyes as his pupils visibly turned blue.
“Mother... What’s love?” Gizmo asked her. “I... I well...” before Penny could elaborate more on that answer a guard called her over. “I’m sorry, I’ll answer that another time! I’ll see you soon, Gizmo!” she ran off to catch up to the guards as the office door closed behind her, leaving Gizmo with Director Hal.
“Love is something your kind will never understand.” Director Hal told him as his pupils turned back to green.. “Gizmo Polendina. From here on out, you’re now a soldier for the special forces unit known as the Soul Unit.” Director Hal began.
“Soul unit?” Gizmo asked. “Yes. It is called the Soul Unit because, you’re going to be working in a team that are very similar to you. They all have souls, yet they were all built. Hence the name.” Director Hal explained. “The Goal of Project Soul is to make this world a better place.” he smiled sincerely as Gizmo looked him in the eye.
Director Hal looked to the other door in his office. “Once you step through that door, you’re going to be introduced to your teammates. Your first mission is tomorrow. Do not miss briefing, is that understood, Gizmo?” Director Hal looked at him. “Yes, Director Hal.” Gizmo saluted, remembering that formality that his Mother had taught him. “Now then, get acquainted with your teammates, get to know the facility. You are dismissed.”
With that note Gizmo exited the office through the other door, stepping down a staircase that lead to a door. Upon opening it Gizmo entered a large open corridor with several other labeled doors. He decided to go towards the door that was labeled Training Room. Upon entering the room. He saw a few other people in this room whom were rather quick to stop what they were doing and look at him. “S-Salutations! I’m Gizmo, Gizmo Polendina. I-It’s a pleasure to meet you!” he introduced as he saluted, though it was clear he was a bit nervous as his pupils had changed from their normal green to a yellow color.
“Quite a few people seem to be interested,” Daniel laughs, shaking his head. “A combination of boredom, the love of fighting and my family, and being talked into it I suppose? I really don’t know...”
