The Popper Burger is a tasty variation on the usual burger. It has a juicy patty with cream cheese, jalapeos, and crispy bacon. All of the flavors come together in one bite!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup cream cheese. 1/4 cup diced jalapeos. 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper. 1/4 cup diced green onion. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 slices of bacon, cooked crispy.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine ground beef, diced jalapeos, diced red bell pepper, and diced green onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well. Form the mixture into 4 burger patties. Grill the burger patties to your desired level of doneness. While the burgers are cooking, mix cream cheese and diced jalapeos in a small bowl. Once the burgers are almost done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they're slightly crispy. Spread the cream cheese and jalapeo mixture on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on top of the cream cheese mixture. Put the cheesy burger patty on top of the tomato slice. Top each burger with a crispy bacon slice. Cover with the top half of the bun, and serve hot.
