Our first event for the year which is early considering the time frame, but a lot of people want to share this, so I made it!
This is similar to Fictober, Flufftober, Inktober, etc. where you would create work (Writing, Art, Craft, or anything else) for a month with daily prompts inspired by the Netflix film, "K-Pop Demon Hunters".
A couple of important notes and rules:
All Fandoms and All Creations of All Kinds are welcome! Your work does not necessarily have to be in the "K-Pop Demon Hunters" fandom. This is a multi-fandom event but you could treat it as creating 31 "Kpop Demon Hunters" fandom pieces as well.
No AI creations whatsoever!
Please respect each other. No bashing of any kind.
Tag appropriately with any content/trigger warnings, ratings, smut, and #Honmoontober2025 if you want to be reblogged.
No incest or pedophilia.
To get reblogged, use the tags as well as ( @ ) this blog so that I may reblog you.
The event will run from October 1-31. Do not post until then. For the last week of October, I will give 7 days for anyone who wants to catch up.
I don't know if I should make a Dreamwidth, but there is an AO3 Collection for the event that I made here.

Here are the prompts and extra challenges under the cut:
Bold Songs (*) – Either Use Any of the Lyrics as a Title, create a songfic with the song, or get inspired in general based on the song
Quotes – Whatever quotes you see must be in the fic or creation in some way
Fave Character Spotlight – Pick a character from Kpop Demon Hunters that you connect to the most and either create something about them, have them meet another fave character, or create something based on their aesthetic
Collabs – Either write or create about collabs in general or use this as a crossover prompt between two or more fandoms.
Twice-Told Tale – In the film, Jinu reveals his backstory, which is told from a different perspective. Write either a two-shot or two scenes that are slightly different to change the tone.
AU/What If… - Use this as an AU prompt or Canon Divergence. What if this happened instead?

Create-a-thon sign ups are open and will remain so until all slots are filled or until September 25 at 11:59 EDT. This year we are only offering a limited number of creator slots, as this is our first time running the event and the moderators want to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible!

Honmoontober has begun!
Hello, everyone! With October 1st being today, I just wanted to let you know that the AO3 collection is open for posting! I'll also start reblogging work as well that comes my way. A few reminders and some FAQ's I came up with:
Please use the tag #Honmoontober2025 and @createforthekdphfans for me to see and reblog your amazing work.
There is no word limit or creation limits. As long as you tag appropriately and follow the rules, feel free to create.
You can do these prompts in any order you choose.
Take your time with your creation. You can still submit after the deadline if needed. I know with my work, I'll still be writing it.
You can combine this event with any monthly events (Flufftober, Angstober, Fictober, etc.) or writing bingos as long as they allow it as well.
