Honmoontober has begun!

Hello, everyone! With October 1st being today, I just wanted to let you know that the AO3 collection is open for posting! I'll also start reblogging work as well that comes my way. A few reminders and some FAQ's I came up with:

Please use the tag #Honmoontober2025 and @createforthekdphfans for me to see and reblog your amazing work.

There is no word limit or creation limits. As long as you tag appropriately and follow the rules, feel free to create.

You can do these prompts in any order you choose.

Take your time with your creation. You can still submit after the deadline if needed. I know with my work, I'll still be writing it.

You can combine this event with any monthly events (Flufftober, Angstober, Fictober, etc.) or writing bingos as long as they allow it as well.

welcome! this is a k-pop demon hunters fest open for all writers, artists, and editors 18 and older.  

there are no restrictions for content and no requirements for length. 

just make sure it’s something new, just for this fest!

sign-ups open august 7th. 

creations will be due december 20th. 

postings begin december 31st.

all works must be created by you and not plagiarizing others' work. any use of generative ai is prohibited – we support art and artists here!

an ao3 account is required in order to post it to the collection.

we’re here to have fun and enjoy this wonderful fandom, so please be respectful of each other. it’s so fun to share headcanons with the rich world the kpdh creators have built! remember that everyone will have their own opinions and imagined scenarios and be respectful, even if their ideas are different than yours.

everyone participating in the fest must be over 18 years of age. we want everyone to be able to participate fully and have a safe space. you’ll be asked in the sign-ups if you are over 18, so please be truthful.

there is no banned content for this fest. please remember to tag and use archive warnings appropriately.

any au, any pairing, and any rating is allowed!

there are also no requirements for fic lengths, art, or edits. we’re just excited to see what you create!

Honmoontober 2025

Our first event for the year which is early considering the time frame, but a lot of people want to share this, so I made it!

This is similar to Fictober, Flufftober, Inktober, etc. where you would create work (Writing, Art, Craft, or anything else) for a month with daily prompts inspired by the Netflix film, "K-Pop Demon Hunters".

A couple of important notes and rules:

All Fandoms and All Creations of All Kinds are welcome! Your work does not necessarily have to be in the "K-Pop Demon Hunters" fandom. This is a multi-fandom event but you could treat it as creating 31 "Kpop Demon Hunters" fandom pieces as well.

No AI creations whatsoever!

Please respect each other. No bashing of any kind.

Tag appropriately with any content/trigger warnings, ratings, smut, and #Honmoontober2025 if you want to be reblogged.

No incest or pedophilia.

To get reblogged, use the tags as well as ( @ ) this blog so that I may reblog you.

The event will run from October 1-31. Do not post until then. For the last week of October, I will give 7 days for anyone who wants to catch up.

I don't know if I should make a Dreamwidth, but there is an AO3 Collection for the event that I made here.

Welcome!

I wanted to create something that may or may not work, but welcome to Create For The Kpop Demon Hunters Fans, a blog that hosts creation events inspired by the Netflix animated film, "K-Pop Demon Hunters"!

Artists, Writers, and Other Creators can gather to meet and create fanfics, fan art, or any other medium that inspires them.

I don't know if there will be another mod interested or there will be other events like prompt lists, bingos, or gift exchanges. I just wanted to create this and see where this goes. This blog is still under construction, but I hope to get this done when I can. Thank you.
