Today I learned that Creative Capers, the studio that animated the first three Bionicle movies, is not only a major animation studio for extra Disney content like games and special features, but collaborated with Disney to make the Lion King blooper reel from the 2011 DVD
That’s both of the primary hyperfixations of mine... holy shit
It’s like it was meant to be...
(EDIT: I’m looking at their portfolio and WOW I love how well they replicate the art styles in Disney movies. They’re, like, one of very few studios who still animate 2D with a proper frame-by-frame, rather than using rigged puppets or copying and pasting frames while slightly modifying each one.
Like, outside of the TLK bloopers, they make extra scenes that blend in so well with the rest of the different films. I respect tf out of that and have personally enjoyed experimenting with that myself
