Creative CVs - NUBBY TWIGLET

I've been doing more research into Creative CV's and how different people present and promote themselves. I came across 'Nubby Twiglet' a design studio in Oregon, American, that specialises in branding and identity development, media kits, editorial design and interactive design. 

As I was looking through their online blog, I came across a press kit. A 'press kit' according to Nubby Twiglet is 'a marketing tool composed of an information pack about your business / product / what you do, that is designed to be forwarded to an organisation'. An example of a press kit is pictured above. It can include a letter of interest, CV, business cards, CD of work (images, designs etc), artist cards / postcards and a folder to hold it all together. 

This gave me an idea about my creative CV; I could put together a set like a press kit, that promotes me and my work. For instance, mine could include, my CV, a disk with my portfolio of work, business card, possibly some print outs of some of my work on postcards, all kept together in a folder that I can send out to companies and design agencies. 

I need to keep how I put together this pack very simple as I'll need to put together a lot of them, and it needs to be cheap send out. So I need to explore different ways of presenting it.  However, I am really excited about this idea as a starting point for my creative CV, especially as I already have my own business cards that I designed over the summer that I can make use of.
