So, for the last part of this year, I'm trying to build my stream discord up. You don't have to be a regular watcher of my stream to join. I will post shop updates there, and I want it to be a space for creative people to join and have a good time. There are some plans for community events in the next few months and I would love to get this properly going.

The Not That Bitter server is a place for LGBT+ people (and cool ally friends!) to hang out! The name springs from how, despite all the stuff I’ve been through, I always strive to be good to other people (and my username is BitterSweet, ahah).

Right now we’re hosting a lil Halloween Week!! We have a pumpkin drawing event, a creative event where you can make and share something Halloween-themed (must be new and made for the event), a place where you can share all the Halloween-type stuff you’ve done or seen, and a place where you can share spooky stories!!!

Favourite Project Number 5 - Moodboards

I’ve begun playing with creating moodboards, mostly in Canva. I’m not very good at it, I don’t really have the patience to find the right images and aesthetics, but they’re a lot of fun and this one in particular I’m very proud of.

Favourite Project Number 4 - Kita Lavellan

I’m very happy with Kita Lavellan. She is the first Inquisitor I’ve ever managed to complete the game with, and the additional backstory I’ve crafted for her, with the help of @mrstethras​ is interesting and intriguing, and I can’t wait to write more about her.

Favourite Project Number 3 - Book Cover for Stolen

I used to make book covers for all my projects, whether they were original works or fanfictions, but as I said at the beginning, I’ve not had a particularly creative-heavy output the last year or so.

I have been working on my original novel again the last month or so though, (See Favourite Project Number 2), and so I made a book cover for it. I was thrilled with the outcome, it gives an gorgeous sense of mystery, and I found a royalty free image that captured my main character’s essence perfectly.

All images used in this cover are from Unsplash, so with the assumption I can complete my novel, I can even use this cover for my finished work, so it makes me grin like an idiot every time I look at it.

Favourite Project Number 2 - Original Story; Stolen

My original story, Stolen. Around July 2019 I had a character walk into my head, fully formed with a personality and a backstory that I fell in love with. I spent two months forming what I call a Draft-0. It’s where I throw words at a page and hope that when I reread them they make some kind of sense.

I recently re opened that Draft-0 document, read it, and fell in love with her all over again, so now I’m turning the 400-odd pages and 100,000-odd words into a coherent First Draft.

It’s a Romance set in a Fantasy World, and I love everything about it. It’s my baby and I can’t wait to finish it so I can share it with more than my closest friends.

Favourite Project Number 1 - Beyond The Veil Discord Server

The Beyond the Veil Discord Server is run by myself and @mrstethras​, with a team of amazing mods to help us out.

It was designed, specifically, as a safe space for creatives of all types where they could work on their chosen projects away from negativity or character hate. All ships are valid, all characters are respected, and we run regular events to encourage out members to continue creating.

We’re a 15+ server, with designated 18+ area’s and open membership, and are currently sitting at over 175 members.

This is the project I’m most proud of, from the last year, because I didn’t really know what to expect when I first made it. Additionally, it wouldn’t have succeeded at all without the amazing contributions of our members. They have really *made* this server the warm and inviting environment it’s grown into and I’m so so proud of it and them.
