Peppermint: What’s your favorite way to overcome writer’s block?
Two options.
If it's creative burnout, then this:
Take the time off and don't write. And I mean, don't write at all. Don't try to force it, and don't think 'I'll just write for a minute or five'. No. If your brain is telling you that you need to take a break, force yourself not to write. (Jot ideas down in very basic form so you don't forget them, but don't open a word doc for ages just to stare at it or get disheartened).
Go and do something else creative. Buy a plant from a supermarket and repot it. Doodle something. Make a new Pinterest board. Learn to crochet. Just do something else creative until your writing energy tank refills. It might take a day, it might take a week, it might take months and months. There's no telling, and there's no point forcing it in this case.
At least, that's how I did it when I burned out completely in 2020 after managing my Patreon load so poorly nearly killed me. I didn't write anything at all for months and months, and it was 'existential crisis' levels of awful, but when I finally felt ready and like I could actually do some writing, I had recharged enough to be able to do it. I kept it small, so I didn't burn out again, but that's how I overcame it.
If it's writer's block where you're just... stuck:
Just write it. Write it badly. Write it so badly you hate it. Write it so badly you don't ever want to look at it again. Because it won't be that bad. You'll think it's awful at the time, and maybe the language isn't going to be the most gorgeously crafted bit of prose in existence, but at least it exists. If it exists, you can edit it. Write it down, force it out of you and then leave it. Don't edit it as you go because that will keep you stuck. Just blurt it out, save the doc, close it, and come back later.
Hope that helps! Take care of yourself. You can't be creative all the time, no matter how much you might want to be, so it's ok to step back and recharge a bit, so don't force things if you think you might just need a little break. It can hit especially hard if you've had a good run of productivity, but that just means you used up all the gas in the tank and it's time to refill...
