Keep it out at all costs. It doesn't belong.
There are some situations where it can be used effectively(ie ideas, names)
It can be used as a tool, but should stay out of the actual writing process.
It can be used for editing and things like that.
It can be used to write some chapters that you don't want to write.
It can be used in Creative Writing regardless of circumstance.
