So, now that new horizons has been released, how do you feel about the changes made in relation to what you said in your “let’s make an animal crossing” video? I did notice some of the things you said, but I really loved your seasons concept and the animals you came up with for it

I have’t played NH and don’t own a Switch!

From what I’ve seen it looks like they’ve implemented enough new features to finally make a new installation of the series feel like a fully new game instead of Animal Crossing With a Hat On, so that’s good! There’s a bunch of cool “Stylist” features I’m excited for.

On the other hand there’s already a bunch of stuff that strikes me as exactly what I was trying to avoid with my pitch, like right now how everyone is complaining about the Museum closing for remodeling and Blathers not only closing for a day, but refusing to take any donations from you the day before he remodels for literally no reason.

Thank you very much! :D  That’s a tricky one that we’ve been thinking about! We’ve come to the decision that whilst the dinos won’t be to real-life scale, they’ll be relatively accurately scaled in relation to each other.  For example, having the sauropods be to true scale would mean they’re constantly cut off camera, we’d always be looking at their knees! Plus, the round, chunky art style lends nicely to resizing a lot of things to fit the aesthetics.  Here’s our first pass at a size lineup (Subject to change)

Good questions! Currently, we’re aiming for the game to run on its own in-game time cycle.  Not real time. The days and seasons will cycle completely in-game.  So, dinos will only run away if you’re neglectful during active play.  I never liked how real-time games penalise you for taking a break. Life gets busy and you can’t always prioritise a game. Hope that answers everything!

How much fits in the backpacks? Like will they fit full size binders and textbooks? Or are they more like something in between a school backpack and a purse

it’s just barely too small for my ipad pro (granted i have the big one that’s like 12x8″) but i love using mine as a dnd bag so it’s always stuffed full of 10000 sets of dice

Hey, thank you for reminding people that they matter, but please don’t forget to say the same to yourself. I do this, all my friends do this, you think that everyone deserves to know that they are loved and wonderful, but not yourself. We all matter, and that is a harsh truth that we should acknowledge more, that we all matter and the world needs all of us here

Accepting that reality comes a bit harsh for me, cause its not like i dont believe it, its more like im afraid of believing it too much

I feel that if i give myself self worth im going to switch completely to only giving myself worth, since my mind works in extremes, so i try to put myself down to protect everyone from the narcissist i feel lives inside me

Everyone deserves to feel love for themselves, we are so capable of love and kindness if we give ourselves that chance, but i know its hard, but its ok, cause we are still trying right?
