Thank you very much! :D That’s a tricky one that we’ve been thinking about! We’ve come to the decision that whilst the dinos won’t be to real-life scale, they’ll be relatively accurately scaled in relation to each other. For example, having the sauropods be to true scale would mean they’re constantly cut off camera, we’d always be looking at their knees! Plus, the round, chunky art style lends nicely to resizing a lot of things to fit the aesthetics. Here’s our first pass at a size lineup (Subject to change)
Good questions! Currently, we’re aiming for the game to run on its own in-game time cycle. Not real time. The days and seasons will cycle completely in-game. So, dinos will only run away if you’re neglectful during active play. I never liked how real-time games penalise you for taking a break. Life gets busy and you can’t always prioritise a game. Hope that answers everything!
