OPEN HOUSE 2017 - GET INVOLVED!
We have lots of paid opportunities for Camberwell Students to work at Open House 2017. You will:
> Gain experience working with the public and young people.
> Gain experience working at a large-scale community event.
> Work with students and staff from across the college.
> Take part in a fun, lively, annual event.

If you are proposing your own workshop please include the names of the members of your team, the title and an outline of the workshop, and a list of the materials needed.
STUDENT AMBASSADOR OPPORTUNITIES
We have opportunities for students to help with:
> Meeting and greeting visitors
> Registering visitors for workshops
> Assisting with either Stop Motion Animation, Letterpress or Photography Workshops (previous experience and workshop inductions required)
> Collecting Feedback from visitors
> Designing an Art Trail/Welcome Pack (to be completed between 19th and 22nd June).
PROPOSE YOUR OWN WORKSHOP
We have funding to give 6 pairs of students the chance to devise and run their own workshop at Open House. Each group will be given a budget towards materials (up to £50) that will be ordered via UAL.
> Workshops must take place at Camberwell College of Arts.
> Workshop should be suitable to take place either indoors or outside.
> Involve an art or design, activity suitable for children aged 3 – 14 years.
> Be safe for the public to take part in.
> Preferably have an item that participants can take away with them.
Past workshops have included make your own stamps, felt hand puppets, DIY Peckham Flag. Other possible workshops could include badge making, collage, clay modelling – use your imagination.
To propose your own workshop, please email your names, the title of your workshop, a brief outline of the activity and a provisional list of materials.
Saturday 24 June 2017, 11am – 4pm
Working hours are 10am – 5pm
(You will need to be available for the whole day)
> You will need to supply proof of ID and address for a DBS check.
> You will need to register, or already be registered, with Arts Temps to work at Open House or run your own workshop.
> You will need an NI number and bank account in order to be paid.
OPEN HOUSE is an annual event at Camberwell College of Arts that takes place on the last day of the FdA, BA and MA Conservation Summer Shows.
We invite our local community to see the shows and take part in free art and design workshops. The event usually attracts around 1,000 visitors.
