Gorgeous Enamelled Brooch Corsage 02 is a lovely colourful cluster of Millefiori flowers and floral wafers. A selection of these brooches will be part of the @ESCARTISTS Espae the Ordinary exhibition starting next Tuesday, 19 October at #Stamford Arts Centre A beautiful bouquet of flowers was the thought that came to me when I looked at the first brooch I made. No two brooches will be the same as I will use a selection of decorative media and different colour combinations for each one. The Corsage series of brooches evolved as I played with a few ideas on a piece of 1.6 gauge sheet copper left over from another project. I loved the results I got on the first brooch and thought this design needed to me made again. These pieces have been layered and fired several times to achieve the final look.
