#Enamelling Sunday progress 😊 Still a lot more to do. I think it will have to be enamelling Monday tomorrow as I still have more bits to enamel and finish. The once a month kiln sessions are working well for me at the moment. I am building up stock for my #onlineshop & upcoming in-person shows. I enjoy this aspect of my work a lot but enamelling is just one of the things I do. Once this batch is done I have a lot of hammering to do. New Toys! 😀 Treated myself to a couple of piercing saw frames, 4 & 6 inch deep. My trusty saw is 2.5" deep which is great for smaller things but if I want to work on a big sheet without waste then it fails. I enjoy sawing so it is a good idea to have the right tools for the job. Happy with the finished piece 😊 I decided to make it into a necklace. I had enamelled these and many more copper circles for my very popular earrings. These 10 were a slightly different size to all the other circles so had been sitting in bowl for almost 3 weeks. Thought I'd have a play and this piece just came together. I am very happy with it. Should I make more? Maybe I will... Next job is to get the #necklace photographed and added to my online shop. Hopefully later today. NEW! Vibrant Enamelled Copper Pendant 07 | Teal This is another one of those pieces where I played with colourful enamel and this piece just emerged. Previous pieces in this series have had reds and oranges as the base colour, for this one I decided to go with teal. Vibrant Enamelled Copper Pendant 07 is approximately 5 cm round. The back of the pendant was enamelled in black enamel. If you feel like wearing a plain black pendant sometimes then definitely can! I will send this colourful pendant on a copper coloured plated chain as pictured. This pendant can also be worn on a torc necklace available in my online shop. New in my online shop today: Enamelled Copper Pendant 04 inspired by the Vibrant colours of India. I grew up in a country where vivid colours were a way of life, so it should be no surprise to anyone that I love bright colours. This is one of those pieces where I played with colourful enamel and this piece just emerged. Previous two in this series had red as the base colour, this one I decided to make orange. Vibrant Enamelled Copper Pendant 04 is approximately 5 cm round. The back of the pendant was enamelled in black enamel. If you feel like wearing a plain black pendant sometimes then definitely can!
