Feeling very grateful today. Despite the anguish and stress over the past week or so; as always, out of pain and suffering come the gifts and the 'pots of gold people'. Thank you to those of you who have reached out to convey your love and good wishes; as well as messaging to share your own stories of struggle and healing. I feel the connection to you all and feel comforted by the amount of caring and compassion that circulates my little world. 💗 Makes me feel incredibly blessed even though our world is still topsy turvy. In the time that I haven't put paint to canvas, the creative process has continued to incubate and well up inside me. I have been wanting to play a lot more with texture on canvas, using a neutral palette and developing my more figurative work further, playing at the edges of abstract. So stay tuned...there is a soulful portrait of a woman about to be expressed onto a canvas... ...And it has me excited!
