Don’t mind me just sitting here thinking about Jon taking up ceramics as a hobby. His entire goal is to make Martin a mug. He gets extremely frustrated when it doesn’t seem to be working out, at least not in the way he pictured it, because it’s the first time he’s come to realize that Knowledge =/= skill.

But he perseveres, and finally makes and paints what will become Martin’s most treasured mug. It’s got a shaggy little Highland cow on the side, and text around it saying “remember the good.” And Martin fully cries upon receiving it for Christmas, afraid to use it but also wanting to use it for every single cup of tea for the rest of his life

funny thing about my brain

If I need to clean a space and I’m overwhelmed or having an executive function issue, no amount of “god this place is filthy” or “you haven’t cleaned in weeks you NEED to this” or even “you deserve a clean space, you’ll feel so much better when it’s done” will ever be enough to motivate me to clean. But what does is

“You know what this room needs? A fresh coat of paint.”

thinking about the disney executives who saw this pitch for a summer camp for kids who sang and said “lets call it camp rock” and everyone was like yeah. because they rock and are also at camp. yeah.
