Roman : and today on "creator's problems", we have the topic of originality
Roman : So, you can up with this great idea and then suddenly, you find something related to it. But you didn't make that.
Roman : and now you are doubting yourself. Did you actually encounter this before? Did you copy it but didn't know and now you know which means that you don't deserve the idea because it's not yours?
Roman : then again, maybe your whole concept is just a lie because you watched this show and listened to that song and read another story and all these influences somewhat shaped your work.
Roman : but did you want to do that or not and is it your work now or just a bunch of influences filtered into a blop of shades stolen from different colour schemata?
Roman : You rotten thief.
Logan : Literally. No. Stop
Logan : Originality is a lie and perfectionism is an unreachable ideal.
Roman, sobbing : nothing I make is valid, I stole everything..
Logan : did you ever write a story in a contemporary setting? Is it stolen just because you implement an idea to reality or a concept of it?
Roman :.. I'm.. I'm.. No?
Logan : good. If you don't steal, are you a thief?
Roman, hugging Logan : 'm not a thief..
Logan, carefully holding him : you're not.
My lolo and my logic are trying to validate me I guess and.. That helped?
@astainedpalette thanks for calming my rotten, tired mind
