I saw this video originally on Reddit, them managed to find the creator on TikTok. This really resonated with me. There seems to be a massive lack of community these days. It feels like people - in the general sense - just want to take and consume and give nothing back. I have honestly gotten to that stage where I’ve pretty much stopped writing and uploading to AO3. Why bother wasting my time and energy to write anything or share it, when the ideas can just stay in my head? I could be using that time and energy on upskilling and finding a job.

So, Eve Casanas/M4NTICOR3, creator of the Monument Mythos, is running a plush campaign and it's not doing great. The availability is about to expire and she still hasn't hit 200 plushes. This is bad because Eve's partner, Valentine, gets all the money from the plush sales and really needs it, and Makeship won't pay Valentine if the plush doesn't sell/might possibly also drop them for future plush contracts.
If you could buy a plush or share this with friends/family it would be amazing, they only need 49 more sales as of posting this. The campaign ends in 30 hours.
Friendly reminder from a writer who genuinely lives for comments 💬🖤
I highly encourage comments. Like—please know how much they matter. Comments are what keep a lot of authors going. They tell us that someone is actually out there reading, paying attention, feeling something. That the words didn’t just disappear into the void.
When someone takes the time to comment, it’s more than just a reaction—it’s proof that the story landed somewhere. That it reached someone. And that feeling? It can completely change an author’s day, especially when motivation is low or doubt is loud.
And on the flip side—if you’re an author and someone comments on your work, especially when they’re clearly excited or even just quietly appreciative, I really believe you should respond. Even a short reply. Even just liking the comment. That little acknowledgment matters more than you think.
Because comments, kudos, likes—they’re what keep us creating. They’re what tell us we’re not just shouting into space. So taking a minute to say “hey, I see you” back? That closes the loop. That lets readers know they mattered too.
Creators notice. We remember. And we’re grateful—even if we don’t always say it perfectly.
So yeah. Comment if you can. Respond if you can. It keeps the whole thing alive 🖤✨
I'm making a taglist for everyone who would like to participate in bringing back certain Writblr events and Tumblr games. However, instead of just limiting it to writeblr, I would like to extend it to fan fiction authors, as well as OC creators.
This Creators' Club was created by my dear friend @starryeyes2000. As part of her legacy, I was debating how I wanted to celebrate her. Starry was extremely supportive of everyone and their work. I would like to continue that.
Instructions:
Please interact with this post if you'd like to be added to my tag list for Tumblr games and past Writeblr ask games, which aims to encourage community interaction, support for others' work, and foster a drama-free creative space.
Do not interact whatsoever (including liking this) if you do not wish to be tagged / participate. If you have a different blog that you wish to be asked / tagged in, please either let me know in in the reply section of this post.
By liking, commenting, or reblogging this post, you’re telling me, bardic-tales, you would like to be on my Creators' Club tag list. I encourage you to reach out to the other creators who are on this list, so we can create a community and celebrate each other's work.
This group is open to all creators: writers, visuals artists, and readers. It is for those who appreciate these types of creators. All fandoms are welcome. We accept original works, original characters, alternate universe, strict canon, opt, x reader, and so on.
We aim to support, nurture, and cheer on our fellow content creators, as well as give everyone visibility. Different levels of participation are okay. I understand that schedules change, as does health. Participate at any level, as it feels right for you and your heath.

EDIT: I am putting all the newest members on this post, since I am adding it to the main @creators-club blog. I will also keep posting your work on my main @bardic-tales and that blog. I'm just going to queue your posts on this one so I don't hit my followers with a bunch of posts. :)
If I have left an encouraging comment on your blog, it's because I am paying forward the kindness of my 8th grade English teacher who wrote "I LOVED this!" on an assignment that I completely misunderstood and she gave me an A anyway. She looked beyond the expected "correct" answer and graded my work on its own merit, showing me that making a goofy mistake was nothing to be ashamed of and that when you create something from your heart, your people will find you. They will see your work for what it is, not what's expected, and they will love it all the more for it. You do not have to do the popular thing to be a creator, you only have to follow your heart 💜

What Else is there in HOHS?
Beta Readers
We have dedicated Beta Readers on a tag role - we would welcome more Beta Readers to help polish up our writers' works, though of course time is freely given and boundaries/CWs are always respected. You are under no pressure to beta. But what can that feedback look like? How does it help?
Editing is painful, but having useful feedback alongside fun and excited comments is a great way to make it a lot less horrible!
Treatos! WIP Feedback!
Sometimes to get things flowing we like to write "Treatos" - short paragraphs/drabbles not connected to full fics to help us get the creative mode moving again.
Most of all, we just welcome all Hopeful Sinners who share our values in fandom enjoyment~ I hope to see you there!
