A 100-page graphic novel anthology about Asexual and Aromantic experiences across a wide range of genres.
From the publisher that brought you Transphoria, Bi Visibility, and Hairology comes Aces & Aros: An Asexual and Aromantic Comic Book Anthology!
Kat Calamia & Phil Falco (Lifeline Comics) are joined on the Editorial Team by prolific demisexual creator, Jeremy Whitley, who will tell you below why this anthology and Aspec Representation is so important:
"As I discussed in my story in this anthology, a few years ago I had the amazing experience of making a comic about being Ace with a full team of Aspec creators. I can't express how fulfilling that experience was. It was like I'd had the same song in my head for years and I'd been trying to hum it to people, but nobody had ever heard it. Then suddenly I was in a room where four other people not only knew it, but knew parts of it that I couldn't remember. They remembered it. Maybe they even knew the song's name. It was incredible and I wanted more Ace people to have that feeling. When Kat and Phil gave me the opportunity to work on this, I thought how incredible it would be to have a team full of people who knew different parts of this song. If there were enough of it, maybe we could actually get other people to understand it. We could actually help the people out there who had a few notes stuck in their head recognize the song. Now it's your turn. You get to help us sing this song and share it with more people. I can't wait for you to hear it. It might be more familiar than you realize."
Aces & Aros features the work of Jeremy Whitley (Unstoppable Wasp, My Little Pony), Kelly Fitzpatrick (Archie), Jenn K. Tidwell (Red Vs. Blue, RWBY), Derek V. Song & Alex Brennan-Dent (WEBTOON's Fantasy High), Bailie Rosenlund (Avengers Academy), Mauricio Mora (HAUNTING, Damsel from D.I.S.T.R.E.S.S.), Emily C. Martin (Princeless), C.K. Carpenter (Scott Snyder Presents Tales from the Cloakroom), Rani Sisavath (WEBTOON's Kai), Yonson Carbonell (Strange Ranger), Michela Cacciatore (Soleil, IDW, Disney’s Lorcana), and many more talented creators!

"Suppression of words leads to suppression of topics."
"When something is unspeakable, we both hide it, but also give it power. Harmful power, in specific. The things we cannot speak and cannot name shape the way that we view the world."
Ironically, youtube is almost certainly going to throttle this video, that has a REALLY important message.
Please watch it, please drop any kind of comment, even an emoji, please tell the youtube algorithm to push this video because it's important, and because it supports a queer creator.
If you aren't in a space to handle these topics, PLEASE go to 36:15 to hear a positive, uplifting message you absolutely need. ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
It's her sign off, so there's nothing after it that might trigger you.
Pre-blaze disclaimer since it can't be edited once you start it: the tags available in the blaze setup are sparse and pathetic. For instance, "queer creator" isn't an option, the closest I can get is "queer artist". Etc. I'd tag better if I could, I promise.
God pride month always fills me with so much joy. We all get rid of our other discourse and just bond over loving people. I think it's beautiful

Please give what you can to help treat and heal someone who has healed many of us by keeping queer sexuality education and support free to young people, even (and especially) when it was/is politically dangerous to do so. We'd be nowhere without Heather Corinna!❤️🩹
A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting my great friend, Heather Corinna, i… Mark Price needs your support for Help Heather Corin
Healthcare, including dental, in the USA is a joke and Heather is having to cover at least $10k for the first two phases of treatment/surgery all just to keep their jaw from crumbling. If you can spare any funds this month please help save Heather's jaw!

Shane came out on his own terms. He’s living as an out, proud gay man in Montreal. Playing against Ottawa, he notices a familiar face in new colors—Troy Barrett, freshly traded from Toronto after standing up to his once-best friend. Shane Hollander had been named Cosmo’s Hottest Man in the MLH, but Troy Barrett was high in the rankings as well. It’s something about those piercing eyes and a jaw sharp enough to cut glass. Where did that come from? No, no, Troy is just objectively handsome in that way people talk about Cary Grant or Idris Elba. That’s all it is.
