16. What would you consider a fate worse than death?

[ difficult questions ] accepting!

He answers without hesitation. “Not my own death but Cosette’s.” Only after the words settle into his bones does he glance into that abyss and recoil from it. The full horror is too great to be faced head-on.

Alternatively, the death of his soul; if for example he had let poor Champmathieu go to prison instead of him. In the abstract, the above s the more likely answer.

Mun-directed questions about roleplaying!

3. What’s something you like about how you write?

To be honest, I”ve been struggling with this lately.  But I like to think that I tend to have a good voice for the characters I roleplay.  My writing style does change a bit from character to character.  

12. Why do you roleplay?

Because I have all of these ideas in my head, and I want to get them out.  I have dabbled in the realm of fanfiction or original writing in the past, but I just like writing with a person.  Especially if you don’t have every step of the story planned out ahead of time.

16. What’s your favorite thing about rping a canon character?

All the “what-ifs”.  I love being able to explore things I wish I had seen in the original material, or expanding past the original material.  And with the state of DC Comics these days, roleplay is the only place I have any chance of getting more of the original Bart.  (Though I would love to be proven wrong about that someday).

One moment the kid was just running, blurring along at more than breakneck speeds, little more than a streak of movement.  Well, until he hit the ice.  It had formed overnight, still heavy in areas and suddenly the boy’s arms were wheeling wildly, his legs losing their traction, sliding frantically around under him.  

The boy was yelling as he slid uncontrollably down the street, on a collision course for some poor sap.
