Check out this picture on the right is Bolaji Badejo in the Translucent Big Chap Alien suit and on the left the Chestburster puppet from @odd_studio - Alien: Covenant. I think it was a beautiful way to bring to life an old concept that in the past wasn't possible with the technology, a great homage to an original idea by Ridley when looking at Giger's work. “One should be able to see the skeleton, the blood circulatory system, the organs etc, Scott would actually like the whole Alien transparent, in the way I’ve made my biomechanoids.” - H.R.Giger. Designed by Ridley himself, sculpted by @dominic_hailstone_ , cast by Rob Trenton and Suzi Battersby, meched by Greg McKee and painted by Kala Andrews.
